A six page leaflet about the New Zealand Medal, about the action at Omaranui ,  about the Crown apology, about Edward Samuel Rabone-briefly.

Includes photo of gt. gt. grandson, the author at the Omaranui memorial.

In the future it is proposed to publish a Rabone (Rawbone) family history:-

The descendants of Edward Samuel Rabone (Rawbone)  a joiner, came to NZ aboard the “Maori”, 1855, from London landing Nelson then onto Wellington three days later. Buried in the Gorge Pioneer cemetery . Woodville. NZ.

This will build on material collected by cousin’s Trevor Rabone, Ralph Rabone  and my Grandmother Ethel Nellie Rabone

publication will be-ongoing, no set date.
