I consider myself a family historian and don’t claim the higher status of genealogist. All my material is subject to errors and omissions excepted, E&OE.
Do let me know if you spot an error or have additional information so it can be corrected/included in future editions.
To attain the higher standard of genealogist I have at times commissioned top genealogists to research, write and/or edit my work. There is an associated cost to that and it is not justified for all publications.

Their charges which are commensurate with their high level of skill along with the cost of printing quality documents designed to last for many years means that Top Read Published books are costly.
Still they do not reflect the true cost of time and effort involved by the author
I believe in well illustrated publications and include as many images as possible both colour and b&w. as they tell the story as well as any words. b & w versions are available for those for whom cost is an issue.
I think of the cost as an investment in a valuable reference that should enlighten and bring pleasure hopefully across generations.
